Hindsight being 20/20, this blog series should have been titled “Will I Survive the Move,” not “How to Survive a Move.”
I’ve really gotten into a nice little groove of budgeting for my mortgage, loan payments, utilities, groceries, and Chipotle habit. No real surprises anymore. But as comfortable I may be with my current finances, I’m still always trying to save a buck.
I’d be lying if I said that our upcoming move was going 100% smoothly. This week, we’ve had several wrenches thrown into our carefully laid plans.
I haven’t always loved the Credit Union. It was a relationship developed over time. Up until 12 years ago, I was in love with a bank. I was young and immature, blinded by the attractive branches and shiny toys, plus everywhere I went, she (a branch) was available
Now that Joshua and I feel confident we are ahead of the game in terms of packing and purging, we have also begun to organize our finances.
