3 Ways to Set Up Your Account While Traveling for the Holidays
Traveling for the holiday season? Make sure your account is safe with these three tips.
1. Set Up Text Alerts
Keep tabs on your money with American Eagle Credit Union’s text alerts service. You can choose to have alerts sent for activities such as: low balance, large withdrawals, and weekly balance updates.
The best part? You can benefit with text alerts even when you’re not traveling, so you’ll always be in the know about changes to your account.
2. Download the MobiMoney App
The MobiMoney app allows you to control your debit card wherever you are. It gives you control to activate and deactivate your cards. Plus, you can receive instant alerts and set limit usage based on transactions, locations, merchant preferences, and spending limits.
3. Let us know when you’re traveling!
Letting us know you’re traveling is important. It assures your card(s) will not be blocked or flagged while on vacation. Your safety is important to us, so if a transaction is made that appears suspicious—such as out-of-state purchases without notification or irregular purchase behavior—your card(s) may be put on a brief hold.
It’s easy—first, log into your Online Access account. Select ‘Secure Forms’ and ‘Travel Memo’. Enter the required fields and your account will be ready to travel with you!
