As a big fan of shopping, online or at any store in town, I’m constantly looking for the best deals. I’ve always heard each month has different, amazing deals for certain product so I started searching for more information and this is what I’ve found for July.
Because every smart-shopper knows how to stretch a dollar.

In-Season Items
Clearance carts are filled to the brim right after the 4th of July weekend. There are a lot of red, white, and blue holiday items, but you can also find great patio furniture and grill accessories at a large discount as the mid-summer month continues.
Jewelry
Because Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day have passed, you can find sales on a variety of jewelry at different retailers, from jewelers to department stores.
Pro-tip: Ready to buy a wedding ring? Start shopping this month! Society says you should purchase a ring with three month’s salary, but no one said it couldn’t be on sale!
Produce
This time of year is perfect for finding the best prices on fresh fruit and salad mixes! I searched for the best fruits and veggies to buy in the month of July and here’s what is in season:
Veggies: Cucumbers, tomatoes, summer squash, corn, green beans, and lettuce.
Fruits: Watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe, blueberries, peaches, apricots, kiwi, raspberries, and plums.
Paint
Painting in the middle of summer can be described as “less than desirable”, which is why it’s so cheap in July! Shop for sales in the summer even if you’re waiting to paint in the fall.
Tools
Retailers purchase an excess of tools for Father’s Day, so the deals are even better now on any items left from that sale.
Pro-tip: Have college kids going out of state into their own apartments or homes? Purchase some tools now to get them started on their home repair kits, just in case.
Summer Clothes
While sales are found everywhere for tank tops and flip-flops, don’t settle for anything less than the best deals (it’s already mid-summer, remember you’ll be breaking out fall clothes soon).
