Best Things to Buy in November

Best Things to Buy in November

Companies are starting to focus on celebrating their Black Friday deals early and lasting even longer —and they’re available the whole month of November.  Today we’ll highlight all the deals you should expect to find before, and after, Thanksgiving.

Large Appliances

From vacuums to refrigerators, large appliances will have some of the best deals all month long.  Last year, many of the discounts came from vacuums, but this year it’s predicted to see better deals on items like chest freezers, washers/dryers, and dishwashers.

Clothing

This month, all clothing has great deals at some point.  The best advice we can give for staying alert on this category, is to receive alerts to your favorite retailers so you’ll be on top of deals for specific weekends.

Baking Supplies

Considering the increased baking we’ll do between now and the end of January for the upcoming holidays, it’s no wonder baking supplies makes the list.  With these deals, it might be a great time to try a new recipe! Side note:  November 17th is National Baklava Day (a dessert that requires some baking!).

Do you see silver bells ringing in your future?  If you have a wedding coming up, November offers super-discounts for wedding dresses and 2020 formal attire.

Laptops

This is an ideal month to check out your favorite electronics store for laptop deals.  (Pro-tip:  Most high-end, designer styled laptops rarely go on sale—but there are usually comparable, more affordable versions.  Do a little research before shopping and you could save some serious dollars!)

Apple Watches

If you’re an Apple fan, you probably saw the new Apple Watch 6 released this September.  Which means new discounts on the Series 5 and earlier—that’s great news for those who love Apple, but don’t want to pay full Apple price.

Toys

Many retailers will be trying to keep up with the anticipated demand of popular toys and gifts for little ones, so you’ll probably see deals for those items leading up to Black Friday and beyond to clear the shelves before the new year arrives.

Don’t count out Black Friday entirely, but it’s good to know there are other deals to take advantage of throughout the month.
